I see this is a 'members-only event.' What does that mean? How can I become a member?

Summit is an exclusive event for our members that provides comprehensive professional development. A 'member' is part of a district or school contracted with Uncharted Learning (UL). Our programs include curriculum, resources, and rich professional development. Learn more here

 

FOR TEACHERS:

I’m a NEW TEACHER to Uncharted Learning; when should I attend?

I’m a teacher who has taught Uncharted Learning programs before; when should I attend?
  • INCubatoredu - July 8 - July 9
  • mxINCedu - July 8 - July 9

FOR ADMINISTRATORS:

I’m an administrator new to Uncharted Learning. Are there trainings or general sessions that I should attend?
  •  mxINCedu Admin:  No special training, but join us for general and breakout sessions on July 8 - July 9th. If you have questions or concerns, please contact summit@unchartedlearning.org.
  • INCubatoredu Admin: Training for new administrators begins at 8:30am on July 7. Plan to join experienced administrators in general and breakout sessions on July 8 - July 9.

How can I demonstrate the value of the Summit to my school so they will sponsor my attendance? 

You can use our Letter of Justification template to get you started. Add or remove as needed:  Justification Letter for downloading, Justification Letter for copying and modifying

Will I receive Continuing Professional Development Unit (CPDU) credits?

Yes! Uncharted Learning provides Continuing Professional Development Unit (CPDU) credits for those who attend and have verified attendance. We also provide Certificates of Completion to both training and National Summit participants.

Are there virtual options? 

Only for new members. We offer virtual bootcamps for NEW INCubatoredu and mxINCedu teachers, as well as new INCubatoredu administrators who are unable to join us in Chicago. These trainings take place July 28 - 30th. Register here or contact your program manager or the team at support@unchartedlearning.org with questions.

 

REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE: 

Do I need to register for the conference?

Yes, you must register. Space is limited to the first 300 registrants! Register HERE.

How much does it cost to attend?

Your school’s annual fees pay for Summit and training registration. Transportation, lodging, and dinner costs are not included.

What meals are provided?

Breakfast and lunch are provided each day.

What should I wear? 

Come as you feel comfortable. T-shirts and jeans are just as acceptable as polos and dresses. Please pack layers as temperature can vary within the venue and between the venue and hotel.
